I am an associate Professor at the Data Science Department at the Hebrew University Business school. Before joining the Hebrew University, I was staff and senior researcher in General Motors R&D for almost 15 years. Previously I was a member of the CTO team in Samsung Israel R&D Center. My research has evolved from
-
studying collaborative behaviors among multiple intelligent agents (M.Sc. and Ph.D. advised by Prof. Jeff S. Rosenschein),
-
Analyzing competitive behaviors of intelligent agents for E-commerce problems (post-doctoral researcher at Bar Ilan University with Prof. Sarit Kraus) through
-
optimizing information and action policies among multiple agents in decentralized control systems (post-doctoral fellow at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with Prof. Shlomo Zilberstein and Prof. Victor Lesser)
-
to AI industrial research (General Motors and Samsung) considering the human-in-the-loop when studying AI algorithms controlling systems that affect human behaviors.
My research includes computational aspects of AI algorithms applied to complex problems related to real-life, and the study of human aspects relevant to improve users’ interactions with AI algorithms.
My current research interests include developing explainable AI algorithms for AI4SocialGood Applications to help users benefit from the computational capabilities of AI algorithms.
